Covid-19

As the tunnel takes in fresh air from outside all the time (no recirculation), it is quite safe to fly. To further increase safety, we have introduced several precautions – including mandatory helmet sock (purchase or loan from us), frequent disinfection of equipment and surfaces and briefing in a large briefing room with the recommended distance between each guest.

You can read more about our initiatives below:

  • Several disinfectant dispensers are placed around the premises and we kindly ask all guests to disinfect / spray hands:
    • upon arrival
    • before putting on flight suit
    • after your flight
  • All helmets are disinfected after each use
  • Extra cleaning is done, and all frequently affected contact surfaces are disinfected several times a day
  • Our instructors wear gloves and a helmet with a visor when in close contact with you during your flight
  • Please avoid paying by cash – make payment online or with contactless payment at our reception
  • All flyers must wear a helmet sock at all times during the activity
  • Helmet socks cover the mouth and nose and must be worn according to the instructor’s directions
  • You can either buy your own helmet sock or borrow one from us. We ensure that borrowed helmet socks are washed according to the authorities’ instructions after each use
  • We have a limited number of flyers per flight session so we can accommodate the distance requirements
  • We have limited the amount of people in each part of our premises and briefing takes place in our large briefing room with plenty of space between each seat
  • In order to comply with the distance requirements, accompanying guests must expect to stay outside or in a room other than the person flying. We have spectator rooms with large windows so everyone can follow
  • Family and friends are welcome to come a long and observe but must expect to wait outside or in another room apart from the person flying. We also kindly ask you to limit the amount of viewing guests during peak hours (Friday to Sunday)
  • Viewing guests are welcome in our spectator area in the tunnel tower. It has large windows so family and friends can share the experience with the one flying. Please limit the time in the spectator area so everyone gets to see their family member or friend fly in the tunnel
  • Stay home if you feel sick – we will schedule a new flighttime for you (read our terms and conditions here)
  • You should stay home for two days after you no longer have symptoms of illness (fever, dry cough, difficulty breathing)
  • Wash your hands before arrival and disinfect hands upon arrival, before putting on your flight suit and after your flight
  • Keep distance to other visitors – at least 1 meter
  • Cough or sneeze up your sleeve – show consideration to each other and to our instructors

Q&A

Everyone from 7 years and up can fly – as long as you’re able to understand and follow instructions. If you are under the age of 18, you need your parents/guardians to sign our Waiver of Liability.

You cannot fly if you

  • Are pregnant
  • Weigh more than 120 kg
  • Suffer from Epilepsy
  • Previously has distorted your shoulder
  • have or has had any problems with shoulder, back, neck or heart
  • Are in plaster

If you have any doubts, please contact us before booking. At any given time, it’s the flight instructor who has full authority to decide who can and cannot fly – safety always comes first!

Er du i tvivl, så kontakt os inden du booker. Det er til enhver tid instruktøren på dagen, der beslutter om du må flyve eller ej – for os kommer sikkerheden altid først!

Flying is almost always possible! If you have any physical disabilities, please inform us at the point of booking, so we can ensure that we allocate the necessary time for you and book the most suitable package. We request that you book your flight on a weekday, so we are able to provide you extra care and attention if needed.

Although we cannot guarantee it, flying with a disability is almost always possible, and we will do our very best to get you airborne.

We begin a new session every hour. If the session is fully booked, the experience will last for about 1½ hours.  Expect 30 minutes for registration, instructions, gear-up and warm up.

For groups of more than 10 people, the experience will take 1 hour in addition to your pre-booked flight time.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your booked flight time.

Upon arrival you need to check in at the front desk and register before your flight. Therefore, it’s important to be here on time. Latecomers will lose their flight time without compensation.

It depends on the size of your group, time of booking and type of flight package.

In general, your session will include other flyers. If you wish to have the place to yourself, please take a look at our VIP exclusive packages or contact us for further information on info@airexperience.dk.

As a first-time flyer, you will be flying in the tunnel with your instructor. Advanced flyers can be up to four people in the tunnel at the same time. The instructor always decides sovereignly who and how many. We take no chances with your safety.

Yes, without any problems.
Our wind tunnel is designed for all types of weather.

With Indoor Skydiving, you feel the same rush as you would experience from a free fall of 4 km. The air resistance and the way you have to control your body is the same, but with Indoor Skydiving you don’t have to board an airplane with a parachute on your back. You fly inside a closed air chamber to a maximum height of 10 meters and always with an instructor by your side.

Indoor Skydiving is more accessible and significantly cheaper than a real skydive, and therefore many professionals use the wind tunnel for training.

Most people learn to fly and control their body in the airflow within the first two minutes, but it depends on the person flying.

Your instructor will adjust the wind power based on your size, weight and experience. For every minute you will gain more control of your movements and steering inside the air chamber. Just relax, follow the instructor’s directions and enjoy your flight.

Coaching

Indoor Skydiving is an internationally recognised sport, so if you are interested, please ask your instructor about coaching or our Kids & Teen Club, which is designed to take you step by step through the basic flying techniques.

Our experienced instructors will teach you how to gain control over your movements, so you can keep a steady body position in the airflow and learn how to steer your body in different directions. Later on, you will be introduced to other flying tricks.

Become a PRO-flyer

Once you have learned all the different flying techniques and gained a certain amount of experience in the tunnel, you can call yourself PRO-Flyer. As a PRO-flyer you have the opportunity to buy flight time at a different rate.
